There are specific challenges and considerations when conducting an international job search, both as an international student and U.S. citizen. The resources below are specifically designed to assist you in your search for internationally-based positions.

 

Interstride is a platform that offers support for international students and postdocs on their U.S and international job search process. It is an interactive portal that provides insights, community, and job opportunities. Both domestic and international students can find resources for living and working abroad – whether for study abroad, a summer internship, or a full-time job in 80+ countries.

Seeking career opportunities in China? Lockin China provides career development support to Chinese candidates and alumni outside China.

Whatjobs features job opportunities searchable by country or continent. Navigate to the top right corner of the webpage to change the country in which you wish to search for opportunities. 

Talent.com also features the opportunity to search by country, and features jobs in the USA but also in 77 additional countries.

The Career Services office has complied a resource guide on job searches in China specifically, including links to hiring websites for U.S. based companies with a presence in China, some job boards, and LinkedIn profile links for recruiters at some Chinese companies.
